Why is the ISMS motto 'Back to Quo Vadis'? As we explain in the blurb about the ISMS Coat of Arms, the President has a strong desire to maintain the status quo, consequently he can often be heard to say that we need to 'get back to quo vadis'. We know he means status quo, but hey where's the nonsense in that. Hence, the adoption of 'Back to Quo Vadis' as the motto for the Institution; it seemed to be the perfect embodiment of all things ismatical.back to top |

Is this Institution for real, or what? Of course it's for real! The Institution has been around for many years, at least since 1973, but only recently has it acquired the technology to produce a hi-tec public and member interface. Prior to that, but at the same time, written records were kept. You too can be certified by the ISMS. FREE ISMS Diplomaback to top |

There appear to be a lot of mis-spellings throughout the site. Why? Not true. All spellings have been verified by the ISMS LFG dictionary. Anyhow, some of the isms would make little sense if the were spelled 'correctly', spelling is phonetic in some cases.back to top |
